Somebody Loves You Los Angeles

I can't really say much as Pastor would say awesome!!! To me the highlight of the whole SomeBodyLovesYou event was Saturday night. Pastor came out and started talking when all of a sudden you could feel the heavy burden he had for the youth that were leaving right after POD finished... from a deafening concert sound you could hear a pin drop. The message was maybe 15 minutes and very few words but these words came straight from God delivered by the Holy Spirit...

the whole weekend was in God's control I was so amazed about how many people worked so well together and that was not the people that was God's Holy Spirit...

the end of the event left me slightly sad but hungry to do more...

99 BALLOONS

please watch this video >>> 99 BALLONS <<<

Eliot was born with an undeveloped lung, a heart with a hole in it and DNA that placed faulty information into each and every cell of his body. However, that could not stop the living God from proclaiming Himself through this boy who never uttered a word.

In the midst of heartbreaking tragedy, the Mooney family found the presence of God strengthening, comforting, and guiding them. Their story reminds us to seek God and endure our struggles rather than blame Him for our hardships.

Shocking Youth Message Stuns Hearers - So Shocking & Biblical

Please watch the entire video!!! It will wake you up!!!

This is a Shockingly Powerful & Biblical message preached to about 5,000 youth in a day when youth are appealed to through shallow and worldly means. At one point in this sermon the 5,000 Youth are clapping and yelling BUT THEN the preacher makes a comment that CHANGES THE WHOLE ATMOSPHERE TO WHERE YOU COULD HAVE HEARD A PIN DROP... As you can imagine, the preacher was never invited back. We believe the whole sermon will be a blessing to many souls. Note: HeartCry Missionary Society offers a DVD of this message. PSALMS

EMOTIONS, WE EXPERIENCE countless feelings every day, ranging from exuberant joy to deep grief. We feel pain, anger, confusion, or joy depending on what happens on any given day.
The book of Psalms is about emotions. Anger, confusion, joy, pain, humility, bewilderment, contentment and all are directed toward God. God created us with emotions, and He knows they will be part of our walk with Him.
Many people read the book of Psalms because of it's honesty. Rather than ignoring the "negative" emotions or condemning them as sinful, the writers faced their feelings and continued to talk to God.
Psalms also is loved because of the clear picture of God it presents. Our emotions change constantly, but God is constant. While we fret, worry, and shout about injustice, God remains calm. When we come to him, embarrassed because of something we did wrong, He doesn't express surprise or anger. Psalms reminds us that God is exalted, the Creator and Ruler of the world, and worthy of worship.
How are you felling today? Angry? Afraid? Frustrated? Or are you joyful, happy and excited? Read Psalms and express yourself honestly to God.

The struggle begins

In one sense, the fact that a battle exists at all is a real cause for rejoicing. If we hadn't been made alive spiritually by God, there would be no conflict.
If my spirit were still dead in trespasses and sin, I wouldn't be struggling with evil desires. I would dive right in and live after the flesh.
The fact that we find ourselves in this fight is strong proof that we are indeed children of God.

God's Purpose or Mine?

WE TEND TO THINK IF JESUS CHRIST compels us to do something and we are obedient to Him, He will lead us to great success. We should never have the thought that our dreams of success are God's purpose for us. In fact, His purpose may be exactly the opposite. We have the idea that God is leading us toward a particular end or a desired goal, but He is not. The question of whether or not we arrive at a particular goal is of little importance, and reaching it becomes merely an episode along the way. What we see as only the process of reaching a particular end, God sees as the goal itself.
What is my vision of God's purpose for me? Whatever it may be, His purpose is for me to depend on Him and on His power now. If I can stay calm, faithful, and unconfused while in the middle of turmoil of life, the goal of the purpose of God is being accomplished in me. God is not working towards a particular finish - His purpose is the process itself. What He desires for me is that I see "Him walking on the sea" with no shore, no success, nor goal in sight, but simply having the absolute certainty that everything is all right because I see "Him walking on the sea" It is the process, not the outcome, that is glorifying to God.
God's training is for now, not later. His purpose is for this very minute, not for sometime in the future. We have nothing to do with what will follow our obedience, and we are wrong to concern ourselves with it. What people call preparation, God sees as the goal itself.
God's purpose is to enable me to see that He can walk on the storms of my liferight now. If we have a further goal in mind, we are not paying enough attention to the present time. However, if we realize that moment-by-moment obedience is the goal, then each moment as it comes is precious.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

2 Samuel 7:12 (New International Version)

When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.

~~~
The history of Father's Day goes like, in 1909 , Spokane, Washington, Sonora Smart Dodd was listening to a Mother's Day sermon. The lecture inspired her to have a special day dedicated to her father, William Jackson Smart, who had brought her up and her siblings single-handedly after their mother died.
She could realize the greatness of her father and wanted to let him know how deeply she was touched by his sacrifices, courage, selflessness and love. She held the first Father's Day celebration on 19th of June 1910, on the birthday of her father.
The idea soon caught on and in 1924, President Calvin Coolidge supported the idea of a national Father's Day on the petition sent to him by Dodd on the acceptance of fatherhood. In 1926, a National Father's Day Committee was formed in New York City.
Gratitude Attitude
Dissatisfaction comes when our attention shifts from what we have to what we don't have. The people of Israel didn't seem to notice what God was doing for them - setting them free, making them a nation, giving them a new land - because they were so wrapped up in what God wasn't doing for them.
They could think of nothing but the delicious Egyptian food they had left behind. Somehow they forgot that the brutal whip of the Egyptian slavery was the cost of eating that food.
Before we judge the Israelites too harshly, it's helpful to think about what occupies our attention most of the time. Are we grateful for what God has given us, or are we always thinking about what we would like to have?
The Cell's Design.
Cutting-edge techniques have revealed startling features inside the cell that force only one reasonable conclusion—a supernatural Agent must be responsible for life.
In The Cell’s Design: How Chemistry Reveals the Creator’s Artistry, biochemist Fazale Rana, Ph.D., uses a common scientific method based on pattern recognition to identify the God of the Bible as the Creator.
Already Prepared.
David sought God's guidance every day. So, when troubles came his way, he was already prepared to handle any test.
We often run to God when we are experiencing difficulties. Many of our problems could be avoided or handled far more easily by constantly relying on God's help and direction.
Do you seek God daily or only during emergencies?
NO WORRIES!!!
Imagine never being worried about anything! It seems like an impossibility, but Paul's advise is to turn our worries into prayers. Do you want to worry less? Then pray more! Whenever you start to worry, stop and pray.
Philippians 4:6-18 (New Living Translation)
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
ELECTION 2008
Nation of Islam activists on Obama camp payroll. Former insider worried by senator's connection to Louis Farrakhan, members of radical group.
JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama employed and continues to employ senior staffers who belong to the Nation of Islam, and the presidential candidate has some "worrying" ties to the controversial group headed by Louis Farrakhan, a former key Obama insider told WND.
[FULL STORY]
His Nature our Motives.
The Characteristic of a Disciple is not that he does good things, but that he is good in motives, having been made good by the supernatural grace of God. The only thing that exceeds right doing is right-being. Jesus Christ came to place within anyone who would let Him a new heredity that would have a rightousness exceeding that of the scribes and Pharisees. Jesus is saying, "If you are My disciple, you must be right not only in your actions, but also in your motives, your aspirations, and in the deep recesses of the thoughts of your mind." Your motives must be so pure tht God Almightly can see nothing to rebuke. Who can stand in the eternal light of God and have nothing for Him to rebuke? Only the Son of God, and Jesus Christ claims that through His redemption He can place within anyone His our nature and make that person as pure and as simple as a child. The purity that God demands is impossible unless I can be remade within, and that is exactly what Jesus has undertaken to do through His redemption.
No one can make himself pure by obeying laws. Jesus Christ does not give us rules and regulations --- he gives us His teachings which are truths that can only be interpreted by his nature which He places within us.
The great wonder of Jesus Christ's salvation is that He changes our heredity. He does not change human nature---He changes its source, and thereby its motives as well.
Matt. 5:20
Oswald Chambers.
The path of God’s love is a path that leaves us overflowing.
The path of God’s love is a path that leaves us overflowing. Our cup cannot contain what God bestows on us. It is only natural, then, that the comfort we received from Christ will overflow into the lives of other people
(2 Cor. 1:3-7).
Our goal is to love people more than need them. We are overflowing pitchers, not leaky cups.
